A snowflake monogram is a fun gift to give or to make for yourself. It looks like a regular snowflake but when you look closely you can see a name in the design. Create your own using different fonts. You could use one flake or a snow shower of many flakes depending on the size of the scarf.

Creating the Design in DigitizerPro
1. Open DigitizerPro>EasyDesign.
2. Select the Font Toolbar.
3. Select the desired font.
Note: Different fonts will give you different effects. Try several! 4. Type in the desired name.
5. Click OK.
6. Select the name and duplicate.
7. Flip so the name is a mirror image.
8. Select both names and group.
9. Duplicate and rotate as desired, creating a 5 or 6 point snowflake.
10. Resize as needed.
Hint: Try not to make the lettering smaller than 10mm.
11. If there is a large opening in the middle of the snowflake, you can add detail by just putting one or a group of initials in the middle.
12. If there are letters with tails hanging down, reshape the letter to remove the lower part, since it won’t be noticeable in the design.
13. Hoop the sticky-back stabilizer. Score and tear off backing when in hoop.

15. Place water soluble stabilizer over the scarf.
16. Embroider the design onto the scarf.
17. Remove as much of the water soluble stabilizer as possible. Soak to remove the rest.
