Marie Stevens, known to many as The Quarterly Quilter from Janome Digest, is Janome America's Heirloom specialist. Her quilts are popular with both quilting and heirloom enthusiasts, and we recently asked her to create another quilt for Janome Digest. A Touch of Silk Heirloom Quilt is featured in the Winter Issue #26. A complete list of supplies for the entire quilt is shown along with instructions for the first two blocks: Hearts and Flowers and Stitchitize Heart. Notes on the final construction are also published along with Marie's hints and tips. We have listed the supplies required for this individual block below. You can make a quilt of one block or re-create the entire quilt.
