This is an easy and quick project – a great project for the beginner in Machine Embroidery. It is perfect for a Christmas gift or a fun T-shirt to celebrate the winter season. I used a solid white long sleeve knit T-shirt and two shades of Janome embroidery thread in the project. You may choose to recreate this project or become inspired to change the color of the T-shirt and the thread to suit your own preference.
Janome Supplies Required
• Janome Memory Craft 11000, 10000/1, 9700, 9500, 300E, 350E, 200E (This project was created using the Memory Craft 10001. If you are not using a Memory Craft 10001 from this project, you can download a snowflake image by clicking here.)

• Red Tip Needle 90/14
• Janome Bobbin Thread
• 2 shades of Janome Acrylic Embroidery Thread:

Fabric and Notions Required
• Purchased long sleeve knit T-shirt (solid color)

1. Cut eight 2 1/2” squares of iron-on stabilizer.
2. Turn the T-shirt inside out and randomly place and iron six of the stabilizer squares onto the front of the T-shirt.

7. Thread the machine with embroidery thread.
8. Set up machine for Professional-style embroidery.
9. Select pattern # 46 from the selection of built in embroidery designs.

11. When machine stops change thread color and proceed.
12. When the first snowflake is completed remove the hoop from the machine and slide the T-shirt off the free arm.
13. Repeat steps 3-7 for each stabilized area on the front of the T-shirt.
14. With the t-shirt turned inside out find the center point of the back neckline and measure down 3”.
Hint: This measurement is for the snowflake placement and may be adjusted to suit your preference.
15. Mark this measurement point.
16. Mark the center point on the top edge of a square of stabilizer and match it up to the marked point on the center back of the T-shirt.
17. Iron the stabilizer square down and hoop.
18. Repeat steps 3-7.
19. With your seam ripper remove approximately 5” of stitching from the sleeve seam beginning at the sleeve hem.
20. Open up the bottom of the sleeve, lay flat, find the center point, and measure approximately 2” down from the hemline.
Hint: This measurement is for the snowflake placement and may be adjusted to suit your preference.
