Janome Wooly Nylon thread is 50 wt and comes on a 1300 meter spool. It is a texturized overlock thread that is both soft and strong. In home decor sewing it is used primarily for serger rolled hems. This thread is able to stretch and recover to create beautiful sheen resulting in a smooth, filled-in appearance. Wooly nylon is recommended for knitted swimwear, lingerie, leotards or elasticized fabrics. Because these garments have seams that come in direct contact with the body the thread is softer and lays flatter than other threads.
