Lesson 16 - Manually Digitize Flower - 5 (Continued from Lesson 15)
The last part of our plan is to digitize the center of the flower. We have a choice of which tool to use to digitize the center. We can continue to use turning angle fill, or we can use parallel fill. We are choosing parallel fill so we can practice using another tool.
Click the Parallel Fill icon.
Click the Object Details icon.
Click the Fill Stitch tab. Click the Embossed Fill radio button. Choose an embossed fill pattern that you like.
Click the Underlay tab. Select Weave underlay. (Weave underlay is always the choice with weave or embossed fill.)
Click OK.
Click thread 212 Peach on the Color Chart.
Magnify the center of the flower.
Click reference points around the center of the flower. Don't connect the first and last points.
Press the Enter key to generate the embroidery.
Press the 0 (zero) key on your keyboard to see the entire flower on your screen.
Click the Visualizer icon.
Congratulate yourself! You've worked hard to create a beautiful, efficient design. Make sure you save your design as both a *.JAN and stitch-based file.
