I'm looking for different uses for the cross-stitch pattern. Do you have any suggestions? -Anonymous
You can size cross-stitch pattern from 100% to 40% with beautiful results. Start with the design you want then simply program in the number of cross-stitches in the pattern and sew. Repeat this process for each line of the pattern changing color where called for. You can use the cross-stitch for a hemstitch, which is popular on linens and heirloom clothes. The cross-stitch is also one of the many of the stitches on your machine you can use for fagotting -- a decorative technique for joining fabric or lace. Remember to change the size for a variety of looks using the same stitch.
