I just purchased a new serger. I started sewing with it and the thread keeps coming out on the first looper. I changed my thread and put a better quality of thread and it still comes out. What am I doing wrong? It is threaded right. -Joyce
You should thread the serger in the proper order; lower looper first, then the upper looper, then thread the right needle and then the left needle.
If the thread keeps breaking, it may be getting tangled. You may not have the looper threads positioned correctly. For example, if the upper looper is going over the lower looper, the thread may snap.
If you continue to have a problem, we recommend that you contact the dealer where you purchased.
