Dear Jan,
When I use my Memory Craft's Professional-Style Embroidery feature on bulky fabrics, such as sweatshirts, or fleece type fabrics, my embroidery stretches the fabric and becomes buried in the nap. Help! -Anonymous

Dear Anonymous,
Fabrics with a high nap require a stabilizer that will hold the fabric securely. An iron-on, tear-away stabilizer works well on the wrong side of the fabric. However, you should also use a water soluble stabilizer on top of your fabric to keep the thread from becoming buried in the nap. Very spongy fabric such as fleece may require the use of Super Solvy Stabilizer by Sulky. If the fabric is extremely dense two layers of Super Solvy are suggested.
