Janome Sponsors Sewing Education Through Love 2 Learn Schools

4 September, 2004

MAHWAH, N.J. ñ Janome America is proud to announce its new association with and sponsorship of Love 2 Learn Quilting, Sewing and Embroidery Schools.

The Love 2 Learn schools partner with sewing machine dealers around the country to bring intensive, creative training directly to the consumer. At recent shows in Lansing, Michigan and Dallas, Texas, attendees enjoyed classes such as Special Digitizing Techniques, A Fresh Approach to Decorative Detail and New Stitch Designs from Unexpected Sources. Love 2 Learn instructors come from the ranks of well-known, professional industry experts; including Sandra Betzina, Tammy Bowser and Kaye Wood. Janome provides both underwriting support and top-of-the-line machines for classroom use.

In today’s busy world, it can be difficult for sewing enthusiasts to find time to join a weekly class or club to further their skills. That’s the reason behind the intense three to four day schools put on by Love 2 Learn Quilting, Sewing and Embroidery Schools. Students travel to a hotel-based location where they immerse themselves in learning and doing. Hands-on training from top creative professionals is conducted in small, personalized classes. Students create at least three unique projects over the length of the school, each one designed to help them learn the tips and tricks of the trade that make quilting, sewing and embroidery more creative, easier, faster and more fun.
