Hi,

I am very disappointed in Janome that a new machine was brought to market that is a mid-range price that has a larger stitch count than our 12000's have. Do others feel the same. I have written to Janome about this and got a reply that an update/upgrade isn't possible as the stitch count is in the hardware of the machine so cannot be increased. This seems strange as the MC10000 had an upgrade that doubled the stitch count that could be embroidered - 32000 stitches to 64000 if my memory serves me.

If any of you have this concern, please write to Janome, so that they know that we need a larger stitch count to go with our larger hoops.

I find this machine to be an excellent machine and it does lovely embroidery. It doesn't cause me the grief that my wonderful 11000, did with its bobbin issues. The problem got better, but I do hope my daughter doesn't experience any of the grief that I did.

Just got the 9900 and am interested in whether anyone else has it and how you like it. Had my old Kenmore for 39 years, so I am really entering a whole new world here! I bought it mainly for sewing, but now find myself totally engrossed with embroidery. Just some random thoughts if you'd like. Thanks!

Hi there - I'm a new member. I have had a Memorycraft 10000 2.2 for many years and have happily downloaded designs from an American embroidery company. However, 2 designs I've tried to download recently seem to be safely on my laptop, but when I try to send them to the machine the laptop says it can't find them. I've never had this trouble before. Any ideas please??

A friend of mine just called me about the above. She subscribed and was supposed to be able to get some designs for $2.00. They gave her a password. She subscribed in December and is unable to get into the site to order any designs and they have been deducting $8.00 a month from her credit card. She has put a stop on any future deductions but would like to get her money back. She has emailed them and asked for help but is being ignored.

I did a little research and it appears that this site has been up and running for only 2 months.

It may just be a glitch but.....

I think I will stick with Emblibrary.com.

Jacquie

Hello, my 80 year old mother was just told that the mother board on her Janome 9000 is bad. They also said they are no longer making those boards. Does any one happen to know where I can find one for her?
She really loves to sew and doesn't have the money to purchase a new machine.

thanks so much,
SLB

Hi. I'm new to forum. I have a model 11590, and there doesn't appear to be a long enough stitch for basting and gathering. No matter which stitch I use, the thread breaks when I try to pull it for gathering. Many thanks for any help on this issue.
