When I go into the Edit screen on the RCS unit, I can move the design with my finger around the screen, however the jog keys do not work and you can not get the detail movements without them. According to the User Manual, the design should open up in the Edit screen, but mine does not and it goes to the Ready to Sew and you have to use the MENU to get to the Edit screen. Again, need the updated information on version 1.4a and how it is different from the manual. Also, is not being able to use the jog keys normal in Edit screen and it only works in the Ready to Sew screen?

My MC 9900 will not read a 64 gb flash drive that I purchased to use for it. It would work at first, but began to not read it anymore. It simply says it can't be used with the machine. Has anyone else had this issue? I know the machine is newer but I can't find anything to help out online and have been trying everything to fix the problem.

Any thoughts?

I just purchased a MB4 and the lady was going to share her software but it wouldn't allow her to copy it to add to my machine. She told me she bought hers for $99 and she got the Janome Monogramming Wizard Special Edition Plus. I have searched and searched for this program and can't seem to find it less than $250. Does anyone know if you can purchase the Monogramming Wizard or Wizard Plus and it will work with the Janome? or better yet know where I can find this software cheaper?

Thanks!

P.S. This is my first machine!! ( I am nervous)

I know this topic has been discussed and I apologies for this. I just purchased a 12000 and wanted to embroider a birthday present. I purchased a design from embroidery library. It was a 14000 stitch count. I used a cutaway stabilizer on a thin kitchen towel with a topping. All was going good and about half way thru the design bobbin thread started coming thru. I assume this is bobbin thread and not stabilizer. I did not use the special bobbin case for embroidery. The bobbin weight was 60wt. What did I do wrong? Needless to say the gift was ruined. So bummed.

Tammy

My question is: why doesn't the bobbin in my machine ever run out completely. It always stops with about 1/8 of the thread still there. Is this normal. Now I just leave it and reload the new bobbin thread on top.

I have a Memory Craft 10000 that I purchased new over ten years ago and I have barely used it, let alone done any software updates. Can I simply update Customizer 10000 Version 2.2 to Customizer 10000 Plus Version 3.6 (still available for download on the Janome website) or did I miss too many updates in-between to make it work? Thank you for your help.

I have a new Janome 350e and want to primarily use it for monogramming/fonts.

I was going to purchase the Janome Embroidery Fonts Plus bur discovered it is for Windows computers. I would either have to purchase a windows computer or put windows on my Mac and really don't want to do either.

I've looked at the trial version of Stitch Buddy and have combined letters but have not been able to stitch a design out yet (because it is a trial version?).

True Embroidery looks wonderful but I don't want to spend that much money on software.

What do you use and recommend on your Mac? I am not going to be making a living embroidering or monogramming. I just want to do a few things for personal use, fun, and gifts.
