Hello all,I am Peggy and I am brand new to this forum. I have just gotten my Memory Craft 6500 machine. What I am needing help with is this. I am using the O foot for the seam allowances and both of my seam allowances are off. I am using the full 1/4 and also the scant seam allowance. Please help me I am frustrated. I am using the 3.5 and 2.0 setting.
Any help with this is greatly appreciaated.
Thanks

The 7700 has an 02 foot. You might want to E-mail Janome and see if the 02 foot will fit the 6500. Also you could try setting the seam allowance to 5.5 or 5.6. The 7700 will do a perfect seam allowance with those settings. It might work for you.

Hello. I've had best results with a when I set the needle position up to 3.7 or 3.8 That seems to give me a fairly accurate "scant" 1/4" seam and is what I use most often when piecing. I also set my stitch length to 2.4 as that makes it easier to "rip" stitches should the need arise (and still gives a good sturdy seam).
