Hi Everyone,
I Just purchased a new 6600 and will pick it up next week. Do most of you use the darning ( open toe ) foot for stipling and free motion quilting or is there another foot that I should purchase ? Thanks for your help !

I use the darning foot all the time for stippling and free motion.

Janomed, There is an awesome quilting foot that comes in 3 parts. Ask you dealer about it. It has an open toe, a closed toe and a clear view foot that has little red guide lines on it for guidance in shadowing.

I have the 6600 and use the foot described by Cheryl for free motion. I bought it from my dealer for about $80. Totally worth it if you do any kind if applique. The foot it saucer shaped and won't get caught on the edges. I think it moves a little more smoothly too.

I like the saucer shaped foot for my free motion. Mainly because when I was trying the other two options that came with the free motion foot, this one seemed to work best so I haven't gone back to try either of the other two.
