justpiddlin Posts: 20 Joined: 07/30/2011	I am making a quilt and am upgrading my Janome 110000 to the SE this week. I wanted to purchase the binding foot so the Janome lady checked on the price and it is $225.00!!! It went up from their last order which was $159. Below is a link where I think I found the part but am unsure if I need to purchase a plate. The display piece she showed me had a plate with it. And the binding foot they wanted to sell would only sew one size, so you have to choose which size you want before ordering, and each size is a separate binder attachment! Kind of pricey! Does anyone know if this is the correct piece for quilt binding and if there is a plate that needs to be purchased with it. MOM Posts: 2726 Joined: 03/09/2009	There is a foot called the Rotary Even foot that has attachments to it one of which is a binding foot. It is a Janome product and if you go to the Janome webiste there is a video showing how to sew with it. Allbrands.com sells the foot with the attachments for about $59.99. check out the video and see if that may be a bit more affordable. MOM
