Can someone give me a hint as to how to make top stitching for block letter more dense. It looks good on the underside but less so on top.

You haven't enlarged the lettering have you, as that reduces the density. Unfortunately stitch formats can't really have the density increased as they are 'finished' designs, you could try stitching each letter twice.
