In installed the CD version is 1.0 of Digitizer 10000 and updated it to Version 2, sp1.
Some of the features are not working.
For example, when using easy design and trying to copy/paste or duplicate from the embroidery gallery, it gives me an exception access violation error with some codes and then shuts the program down.
I tried copying a very small stitch and it still happens. I have 256 RAM
My software says it is version 2.01 (or it looks like a 1) service pack 1. I am using Windows XP
Can anyone suggest how to fix this problem? I feel very limited by not being able to cut/paste/duplicate.

Kathy, 256 MB or 2.56 GB of RAM as 256 MB is very small to run a graphics based program. You may find re installing the SP1 pack offers you a repair option, if it does run a repair on the program. Don't use the CD as it will tell you there is already a newer version installed, it has to be the SP1 update
You just run it as if you were installing it, it should then offer 'Modify/ Repair/ Uninstall. You select Repair. It thn compares the installed version against itself and repairs any missing or or incorrect entries.
In the Digitiser 10k you may have to totally uninstall, delete any Janome folders and begin from scratch. Its a really glitchy version of Janome software.
Hi Kathy, You need to set the software to run in compatibility mode to get this older version to run on Windows XP SP3.
To do this make sure Digitizer is NOT running and do the following:
1. Go to your Digitizer 10000 desktop icon and right click the icon
2. Select Properties
3. In the dialog that appears select the Compatibility tab
4. Click the check box that says Run this program in compatability mode for:
5. In the drop down list immediately below it select Windows 98/Windows ME
6. Click OK
When you double click the desktop icon these settings will take affect and you should then be able to cut/copy/paste.
