I have the compact flash card, read writer, and adapter I think Ive program the card but no go on the design, I didnt know I could have updated my XP to service pack 3 and be ok with MBX.. too late.. Can anyone help..

MBX will not talk to a reader/writer, unless you're talking about a card reader by SanDisk or some company like that. Otherwise, don't forget, you have to download drivers for the new components. What machine do you have?? That matters a lot

Fran, I have windows 7 pro 64 bit, the 10001 and MBX. I use any brand of CF card I can my hands on and thy all work. However when using MBX to write to card you have to make certain the machine filter is showing the 10000v3 or 10001, you have the correct hoop in the hoop filter before using the external media link.

When the dialogue window opens on the right you will see at the top the navigation ribbon and a small down arrow, use the down arrow to acess the drop down menu if you dont see the 10001 folder system in the larger right hand preview window. Win 7 sometimes needs to be TOLD what to do. When you find the correct drive letter you'll see all the folders, highlight one and open it. If you dont open one of the folders it wont save correctly and your machine wont see it.
