Fran, Customiser 10k+ has 3 seperate components. A very limited auto digitiser, Easy Import, allows you to open a BMP graphic, which you can then using the few tools create a design.
Easy Edit, another very limited component, it's a customising layout program, but you cant do much in it apart from open stitch files, JEF only, and arrange. It doesnt allow any real editing.
Easy Giga, which is the component that allows two B hoop designs to be arranged and then sent to external media for use in a machine.
I'm afraid its a program I never explored too deeply simply because it was so limited.

Fran,

There may be some lessons for Customiser on this website. I never liked the program as Digitizer was so much better and I found also easier, but I have a friend that has a different opinion. The program does allow you to look at your designs and send them to a PC Card for stitching, but I don't remember how it works.

Check out the lessons, at the top of this section they are the first in the "Software Lessons".
