I've always used my 5 x 7 hoop the most. I'm thinking about getting the 12000 soon and would really miss that hoop.
It would be great if others who'd like to have a 5 x 7 or even a 5 x 9 hoop would let Janome know - in writing - either through email or a letter. Send it to your dealer and they'll pass it on.
Janome does respond to the requests of their customers.

I wrote Janome and requested a 5x7 hoop for the 12K because it's the perfect size for children's t-shirts. The hoops themselves are too big for kids' shirts now!

It would be nice to have a 6" x 9" hoop! ;-)

The 12,000 has a 5.5x5.5, 9.1x9.1 and the large is a 9.1 x 11.8. I love them all there is also the Free Arm all of them included with the machine. In July the new Quilt program is coming with an Quilting hoop which is now in the MBX, When I do a smaller desgn I use sticky stabilizer and when I finish the design I just tear out around the design and put another piece of stabilizer over the hole and get 2 times with the stabilizer and I do not always hoop my fabric. I love the new hoops. I have even hooped 3 layers incuding batting, with no issue.
I don't think a 5x7 would really interest me. I know you all are wishing for one but I do not think I would purchse it. I would rather have the quilting hoops.

Yes, I'd love to see a quilting hoop for the 12000. The ones for the 11000 were very well-designed.
The 5 x 7 was a great size for embroidering T-shirts.

Be patient. There is something new coming as we have been advised on another forum. We may get what we are asking for, but it will be at a cost. There is suppose to be an update to correct a few issues on the 12000. In Digitizer MBX, there is provision for an acuhoop and it will probably be similar to what the MC11000 had but bigger - 220 X 220 which is just under 8".

I sure miss my Clothsetter... I keep hearing that they'll be bringing one out for the 12000. Has anyone heard anything?
