I have a Janome 10000 upgraded to 10001 (V. 3).
Customizer 10000 came with it.
I have a design that should fit within the Giga Hoop but the machine does not seem to recognize it. I keep on getting a message that says it exceeds hoop area. What am I doing wrong? I can't find a setting in my machine that sho9ws it recognizes it. I have a baby blanket that should have done yesterday.....lol
Thanks in advance!

Spunky bear if your design is too large for your 140 x 200mm hoop it wont work in your Gigahoop. The Giga hoop is a layout hoop that consists of two B hoops overlapped. each design, must fit within a B hoop sewing field. Here's a link to a Gigahoop video clip I made on you tube. gigahoop video

Digimad,
Thanks so much! I was about to lose what is left of my ever-loving mind!!! What you said makes perfect sense.
I am still having a problem though. Do you know what is the embroiderable area for the "A" and the "B" hoop please?
I can do graphic layout but keep getting the message that my design requires the 11000 or Jef+ format (which I don't have), or the Giga Hoop. If I know the dimensions I am thinking that will save me some grief.
One additional question(s) If you are familiar with Monogram Wizard Plus with Extended Features and Customizer 10000, Do I create my design in Monogram Wizard Plus or do I use Easy Gigahoop? My concern in using that is that I won't have access to the same fonts.
Thanks again!

Hi Flower, the A hoop on the MC10kv3 machine is 110 mm x 126mm in imperial that's 4.33 tall by 4.96inches wide,
the B hoop is 140mm x 200 mm in imperial thats 5.51 inches wide by 7.87 inches tall. Anything larger has to split to be sewn on the MC 10k. It has a 64000 stitch limit and a 75 colour change limit.
What software are you using, Janomes own or a third party program.

Thanks so much Digimad! Looked at your video too. It was helpful.
The software that I am using is Monogram Wizard Plus w/Extended Features.
I also have Customizer 10000. I don't want to use it because of the limited fonts and options.
Thanks Again.

Spunky, quite a few Janome users use MW and MWplus very succesfully on their Janome machines.

Thanks!

If there are any MW Plus with Extended features out there, I could use some help.

Spunkybear have you contacted needleheads MW or visited their site, apparently they are really helpful. As for incorporating designs in MW, not owning the program I honestly don't know.
