I have a mc 200 E with an error message of rom restore mode ver1.0 Please advise what to do to get the message to go away. I have turned the machine off and waited but message will not go away. Please Help if you can
Are you saving designs to the memory on your 200E, if so the memory may be full and so cannot open any new designs. Try to delete anything that you have placed on the machine, but if you don't have the designs on your computer or a USB stick, see if you can save them there first. It is not advisable to put many designs on the machine itself as the memory fills up quickly and then you are in trouble.
If that isn't the problem, take the machine in for a service as there may be something else wrong that you cannot fix.
