My design knots up underneath when the stitch gets bigger and looser.
I have cleaned it thoroughly and replaced the needle many times. My tension is 3.
Can anyone help me.

When you thread the needle and hook the thread over the side of the machine before you start stitching lower the presser foot, does the thread still feed through or is it taut? Lowering the presser foot makes the thread become taut in the tensioner so that it cant feed through too quickly, if it is pulling through easily you may have a bit of broken thread machine around the tension area. It may also need the tension discs cleaned which I do by running a bit of dental floss between the tension disks. If this fails it might need the inner tension tightening by a technician. I know this might sound strange but fluctuations in temperature can also cause this, I have 3 300e and a 350e and in the winter time they all played up tension -wise at the same time and I had to reset the tensions. As the weather starts to warm up they tend to go the opposite way. Hope this helps. Kind regards, Doris
