On Friday (yesterday), I attended an all-day hands on workshop on this machine. It was given by the Janome rep, Liz Thompson, at Sawyer's in Victoria. I took an 11 day holiday, visiting a bunch of places in Canada last year and packed about a third of what I took to this course!! It was fantastic, Liz is a great instructor. I am suffering from information overload, but one bit I wanted to pass on ASAP is that this machine will accept 8 or 16G sticks. Don't fill them up but in view of the scarcity of the smaller sticks, I thought this was something you would like to know.

Just too add a little. I contacted Janome just yesterday and they said it could read up to a 4gb. Interesting you found out different. I have been using 2gb which was left over from my 11,000 and they are working fine. We shouldn't really put more than the designs we are working on at one time any way. Thanks for the info.
