Can I use DigiPro to convert formats (HUS, PES etc) to JEF or JEF+? If so, can someone tell me how to do this? If not, what can I use? Is it free. My Buzz program can not be upgraded to Windows 7 and I'd like to not have to buy the updated version right now. Thanks much.

sewmuchmore:

To answer your question, yes Digi pro can read and convert to any format.

also you need to contact your dealer, there are different verions of Digitizer.

No Digitizer is not free.

Thanks to Mattes and MOM for the replies. I will try Pulse
Ambassador and was unfamiliar with it. Always nice to hear of new resources.

I guess my post was confusing. I own DigiPro, and you're right, Mom- It's not free. For viewing, changing formats, resizing and catalogueing I also own and was a happy user of BuzzExplorer. Sadly, this program will not work on Windows 7. Just looking for something to change formats easily and did not know whether DigiPro even does that, also DigiPro seems like massive overkill for changing formats. I have learned there is an upgrade price, so that may be mybest approach.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the responses. I will look at using my DigiPro for re-formatting. Will probably just upgrade my BuzzExplorer. Also downloaded Pulse Ambassador, but haven't checked it out yet. Thanks again.

SewMuch,

To change the format, you just need to open digiPro, bring in your design, save as, to a format from the list. It will default to the .jan format but if it is a stitch file you would be best to save it to another stitch file, .jef if you are using a Janome.
