1.Thou shall not buy another piece of fabric until thou has used two pieces from thy stash.
2.Thou shall not pin baste a quilt on a waterbed.
3.Thou shall not pre-wash inexpensive RED fabrics with your teenage son's WHITE socks and underwear
4.If you neglect to pre wash the aforementioned RED fabric and it bleeds all over your completed quilt, thou shall not whine.
5.Thou not covet thy neighbour's stash-you may however try to weasel your way into their will through kindness and good deeds.
6.Thou shall not work so much on your Grandmother's Flower Garden that you neglect the one outside. There is a reason why you are developing quilter's butt along the back forty!
7.Thou shalt shower your little doggie with attention or else she or he will poop under your sewing machine when you leave the house!
8.Thou shall not feel obligated to hand was any dishes while you are developing a quilter's callous.
9. Thou shall not neglect the lint under the bobbin case, otherwise Bernie or Jan may burp it out at an inopportune time!
10. Thou shalt not sew fabric strips at 50MPH without occasionally checking for a bobbin thread.
11.Thou shall not baste your quilt to the carpet.
12.Thou shalt not run over thy finger nail with the sewing machine as it splits all the way to the nail bed and hurts for days!
13. Thou shalt not hunch so far over machine so much that the take-up arm slammeth thee between the eyes.
14.Thou shall remove all pins from the quilt before you present it to the mother-in -law!
