I am trying to keep my Janome Horizon clean and free of lint in the bobbin case, and have a hard time getting everything back into place after cleaning. I just spent at least 30 min trying to get the machine to sew correctly, pick up the bobbin thread correctly and keeping the thread from breaking. I took the sole plate off at least 5-6 times and tried realigning the bobbin case then closing it back up and it still wouldn' sew correctly. This whole thing started because I noticed a strange sound when the machine was sewing. so I did clean out a lot of fuzz from the bobbin case area, but getting the machine back together so it worked correctly took me way longer than it should have. I must be doing something wrong ... Anyone else have these problems after cleaning the bobbin case???? Finally got it put back together and it is sewing and the stange noise is gone, but it doesn't seem like it should take me this long to get the machine back after doing the recommended cleaning of the bobbin case area.

I agree completely, it should not take you that long. Are you lining the two red dots together in the bobbin case and holder, if not, that could be a problem. On my 6600 you have to look real close to see the red dots. I hope this helps, good luck ! Janomed

I just come across the same problem after using this machine for one month. I still in the middle of this. Very frustrated after try everything I know and goggle about this problem on the internet. It seems a very common problem in Horizon. Some people suggest using a new bobbin holder, some suggest put some oil in the back of the bobbin holder.

To Seleyrn, could you tell me how did you fix the problem? I'm feeling afraid now for push any button.
