I just received my latest issue of Threads. There was an article on using zippers as accent pieces on garments. It listed some web sites where you can get zippers with rhinestones, eyelet tapes, animal print, plaids etc. tapes. Also zippers with multi coloured teeth. These have all kinds of possibilities for garments and even cushions. Here are the sites.
