I just purchased the accuquilt kit. I am having trouble lining up the hoop sections and keeping the stitching the proper space away from the previous hooping stitches. Should I align the paper template or the plastic template outline with the previous stitching. Has anyone tried this? How do you keep the stippling squares looking continuous?.

Pam if this kit is for the 12,000 then go to page 129 in your manual and it explains how to calibrate your hoops to the machine.

Rather than the center of the hoop it is where to place the second (and subsequent) hooping to line the stippling up so it looks continuous rather than in squares? Thanks for your response. Any ideas?

The way I do it is to stitch the first section and then tape the template (which I make out of vellum, by the way) that I cut close to the design part so I can put it as close to the previous section as I want, to the quilt. Then I postition the hoop ove this so that the design fits in the grid and when it does, I will tweak it using the edit screen to jog it into the right grid.
