My serger was serging perfectly , then 2/3 way around a bag, stoped serging. No looping now. What am I doing wrong? It looks as if all the thread are in proper place.

I suggest you try to re-threading. There could be some part that came unthreaded by popping out of its place. When doing this make sure that you unthread your needles. Thread the lower looper first, the upper looper second, then the needles.

I've threaded and rethreaded. It's still not chaining. I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong. I read the manual and I used the chart on the door to thread. I count to make sure I'm hitting every mark. I start with the first thread on far right and come in, that is the first looper , as far as I can tell. Is there a button or something I could have hit? I want this to work. the machine motor runs smoothly, and I love the way it serges. It worked great until it broke a thread. I made a mistake taking all the threads out and rethreading, but it stopped chaining completely. And that's where I am now. Please any help is appreciated. I don't think it's the machine at all.

OK, I just picked up my Juno last week. Here are the items I recommend checking.

1. Always set your thread tension to 0 when threading. Write down the tension settings for all 4 threads. Then set them to 0 then rethread then put them back. This guarantees the theads are seated inside the tension disks.

2. make sure the lower looper's thread goes over the upper looper but don't let it get hung up way down on the upper looper. I did this today and it wouldn't chain.

Try these two items if they don't work I can send pictures of my 3434D as it was threaded right out of the box. With my last serger I took pictures of the thread path when it was working right and taped the picture to the serger table so I had a quick reference.

Bella, I've found your mistake. Start with the other looper or like I was taught - from the inside to the outside. Your lower looper has to be OVER the upper looper thread or it will continue to unthread. However, your needles need to be unthreaded as well to get the loopers correct.

I don't know what your serger is like but I start threading at the post from left to right for the loopers and the opposite for the needles after I've done that.
