I just received an email from Janome extolling the virtues of the 9900. I see that it offers 200,000 stitches which is more than the measly 100,000 on the 12000. And they do not have the useless circle cluttering up the screen.
Is the 9900 a superior machine to the 12000 in any other way?
Why doesn't Janome offer an update to give 200,000 stitches to the 12000? I am not happy especially after paying the huge amount of money the 12000 demanded.

I am speculating here and expect that Janome will be offering an upgrade to us after Janome Institute. The stitch count should have been here when they developed the 12000, but realizing the error the least that Janome might have done was over a free update to bring our machine to a similar standard of other brands. I just may look at something all together different when I consider my next embroidery /sewing machine.
