I have the Memorycraft 7700QDC and am looking for a smaller machine to take to class, etc. looking at the 3160 QDC and would appreciate your opinions and experiences. Is there another you would recommend instead? Why?
Thank you!

The 3160 is perfect! (I have it plus the 7700) Not only does it have the scissors but it also has the superior feed system plus which is the same feed as the 6600 and the 7700, it makes very accurate stitching. All the snap on feet for the 7700 will fit it but it is a low shank and the 7700 is a high shank (sorry). It's a great classs machine because it's small but has that extension table

I have a 3160 QDC and love it! It's an all around practical machine. A good buy for the money.

Made the purchase of the 3150 QDC and am thrilled! Love the included extension table and lightness for travel. Also am spoiled with built in scissors! Have four students that are thinking they might need to upgrade to this machine also. Great investment I'm sure will be used for many years! Thanks for the great input, much appreciated!
