I have a Memory Craft 7000 and I can't seem to find much info on it online. I am considering selling it, but not sure what it's worth. It has everything original, including the pedal and case, but is missing foot F and C and the plastic cover to the bobbin compartment. It's in perfect working order. My mother bought it in the 80's to start up her children's clothing shop. It was passed to my sister, then me; and I use it fairly regularly with no problems. I have no use of all the embroidery functions, and want to buy something simpler and newer. Anyone have any info on the value, or where I could find the value? I would appreciate it!

I have one too! I used it for my business as well as for personal use. It's a good dinosaur and really don't think resale value is much. Most of the features have been updated or improved. I plan to keep mine but invest in another Janome.

I have just been given a Janome 9000 memory craft with scanner and I have never seen what this machine will do, let alone attempt to use one. Anyone able to steer me to some resources, I am in Troy, Ohio.

Hi,

I have a 9000 that I would love to sell, with lots of extras added. Unfortunately it is very outdated computer wise and no one sees the value of the "sewing" machine part of it. I'm afraid I will be lucky to get $500 for it and really should get $800 as it is an excellent machine. So your 7000 - may get you $2 - 300 for it. Folks don't realize that they are getting a top of the line machine of its day and it will do much more that a brand new one for the same price. All they see is NEW.

Hi, I have had a Janome 7000 for a long time but right now it is stuck on a error and I don't know how to fix it. Does anyone else have had that problem?

I have a 7000 and plan to keep it. It has given me 20 years of good service! Would anyone know the updated version to this model? I think I need to start looking before it starts giving me trouble. Thank you in advance for any suggestions

The MC7000 was the top of the line in the late 1980's. If that is what you are looking for today, you want the MC12000, but it is a LOT more money than you paid those 20+ years ago. For a top of the line machine that just does sewing with decorative stitches, the Horizon 7700 is the top machine. I have both the 12000 and 7700 and love them both. For a machine that runs about $1000 the 4120 QDC is wonderful as well - it has 120 decorative stitches. Janome has others that are less expensive, but they don't have the number of decorative stitches that you may have become accustomed to on the machine you have.

I have a 10001 that was new in 2003, and I love it, however I am in the market for a good used computerized machine for my 14yr old granddaughter , she has been showing great interest and capability using my machine, but I can't give it up to her as it is always running. know what I mean? anyway what information have you been able to collect on this machine. I don't know about the 7000. I live in the Houston TX area , can you send me a picture of what you have? is it heavy to ship? whatever you can tell me would be more than I know now. CarylAnne

I have a memory craft 7000, and it doesn't show an error code but it is locked somehow, I just picked it up from the repair show and they were not able to repair it. Can anyone help me? The repair man said it has a locking mechanism, but he didn't know how to unlock it.

I came across a janome 8050 in the thrift shop on saturday, $9.98, brand new. When I tested it the top thread was loose even after adjusting the tension. I know they sell for a couple hundred but would it be worth whatever maintenance it might need?

Sorry I'm late to answer but this might help someone else. If it's in pristine condition you might get around $200.00. That is why I chose to keep mine.
