Hello all!
I am a weaver...got my JanomeHD1000 to sew my inkle bands and other hand woven fabric into bags, but to my dismay the machine just bucks and jams and will not sew through the woven bands. Can any one offer ideas, solutions.... I am feeling a little desperate!

A few things to try - sandwich the fabric between two pieces of tissue paper or washaway stabilizer; use a walking foot; or try one piece of paper between the fabric and the machine plate and a roller foot.

Also try elongating your stitch.
