  • Needle Art from Milinda Jay

The Perfect Project's to Make Anytime!

Milinda Stephenson, from Milinda Jay, created three wonderful projects for Janome fans to make on their own. She created an easy quilted potholder, zipped leather make-up bag along with a square coaster. The best thing about Milinda's three projects are that they can be used anytime throughout the year!

The Easy Quilted in-the-hoop Potholder is perfect for any delicious, but oh so hot pots and pans coming straight from the stove and oven. Milinda used quilting techniques using her Horizon Memory Craft 12000 sewing and embroidery machine. She even added her initial to the potholder using the features from the monogramming function on the machine.

For all of you ladies who are constantly on the road, Milinda's In-the-hoop Zipped Leather Make-Up Bag is the perfect accessory to carry along with you in both your suitcase as well as your everyday purse. Since most people keep their make-up bag in their bathroom, Milinda made this bag using soft leather and a nylon zipper to create a chic and shiny look so that you can pull it out anytime, anywhere!

Last but not least, Milinda created the colorful In-the-hoop Square Coaster that is both adorable and bright enough for that refreshing summer drink that you crave during the heat waves in July and August.

Milinda provided free download files for each of the designs she used in her projects. You can find them all on our project's page!
